Computer Networks & Topology

Click here to learn about Networks and Topology.  Open the Networks & Topology document under the class documents section and answer the questions.  Turn in your work when done.

Networking Assignment

Complete the networking assignment found under the class documents.  You will research Microsoft NT and Novell Netware on the internet to find the differences between the two network systems.  Print the sheet and turn in when complete.

Computers: Inside & Out

Click here to go to the Computer Connections web page.  Begin working in lesson one and continue through lesson ten.  Complete the worksheets at the end of each lesson.  Print the worksheets and staple together to turn in all at once when you have completed the last lesson.

Working with files & External Media

Open the Working With Files document in the class documents section.  Complete the activity on your computer as described in the instructions.

Thursday's Assignment

Warm-Up:  Complete the crossword puzzle found in the class documents section.

Daily Work:  View the PowerPoint on problem solving found under the class documents section.  After watching and taking note, complete the problem solving activity found just below the PowerPoint.  You will have to print out the activity and turn in at the end of the class period.  All students must turn in their assignment by the end of the day.

You should also use the day to catch up on any assignments that you may not have finished.

Hardware & Software

Complete the Hardware and Software Concepts activity located in the classroom documents section as today's warm-up.  After completing the warm-up activity, open the Binary Code activity.  Complete the activity by going to the Intel site using the Intel link provided in the documents section.  Each section will be completed by going to a different lesson found on the left side of the Intel page.  Print and turn in when complete.
